Do you charge extra for special shampoos and conditioners?
No, we do not charge extra. The health and comfort of your pet is our top priority.

Do you use perfumes?
We use perfume only if it is requested; many people and dogs have reactions, and never advise to do so on cats.

How often should I brush my dog?
It is important to brush certain breeds every day to avoid matting. We offer a brushing service. You can drop your dog off between bathing and grooming. This has been very helpful for clients with busy schedules.

How often should I groom my dog?
It depends on the breed and how often you brush your dog. If your dog requires a haircut. Most dogs require between 8 and 12 weeks for a haircut. Bathing is a personal preference. Some clients will bathe their dog once a week.  Others will do so less frequently.  We understand that individual preferences and needs vary.

How important is grooming for cats? When is it needed?
Short hair breeds require less grooming; however, bathing cats can be helpful to remove the dander, which may decrease allergy symptoms for people who are allergic. Long hair breeds, such as Persians and Himalayans (are man-made breeds), and need to be regularly maintained, bathed and brushed.
