Should I bathe my dog more in the summer or more in the winter months?
In the summer, many dogs feel more comfortable with a good clip and even shaving them can keep them cooler. In winter, your dog’s skin can be dryer. Hot oil treatments can relieve some of the itching and discomfort.

What do I do if my pet has fleas?
We use organic flea shampoos if needed. Most important, we recommend always keeping your dog on a flea control regime such as Frontline or Advantage. A veterinarian can best advise on what products are most suitable for your pet.

Why does my dog have to be there so long?
We do our best to try to accommodate to your schedule. We want every pet to have the attention they deserve.

Why does my dog have to be in a cage? Will my dog have contact with other animals?
Crating your pet is for their safety and comfort. Your pet will not have any contact with other animals. We will make an exception for pets that live together. Otherwise, we feel it is not safe for pets to have contact. Dogs are den animals and feel much safer in a cage; it will even reduce their stress! We have different types of cages and will find out which cage is best for your pet. We also have open stalls if that is requested.
